The Ries Lab of Biodiversity Informatics is recruiting a grad student to study Baltimore Checkerspots (Euphydryas phaeton)

Please contact me ( if you're interested in working on labratory experiments studying the response of this species to changes in thermal environment and host plant preferences. Fundamental laboratory studies will be used to develop large-scale models of this species' distribution dynamics that will then be tested using citizen science monitoring data.
